Alex Pettyfer

Alexander Richard Pettyfer, known as Alex Pettyfer, was born on April 10, 1990, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. He is the son of actors Lee Robinson and Richard Pettyfer. His parents met while performing in London’s West End, and he has a younger half-brother, James Ireland, from his mother’s remarriage to Michael J. Ireland.

Early Life and Education

Pettyfer was raised in Esher and later Windsor, Berkshire. He attended several independent schools, including The Mall School in Twickenham, Lambrook Haileybury in Berkshire, Millfield School in Somerset, and Shiplake College near Henley-on-Thames. Before his GCSEs, he transferred to the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.

Career Beginnings

Pettyfer began his career as a child fashion model at the age of seven, working for brands like Gap and Ralph Lauren. His first commercial was at age six.
